About Morrison CO
Located 30 minutes southwest of Downtown Denver, Morrison is a quaint and picturesque town of just over 400 residents. It is situated west of the Hogback rock formation, giving it a secluded mountain-town feel. Morrison is perhaps best known as the location of Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater, a premier nature destination and concert venue. There are also several high-quality restaurants and shops along the town’s historic Bear Creek Avenue. Morrison’s natural beauty can be experienced best along its Bear Creek Trail, which starts in the town’s business district and provides access to two of its parks–Two Creeks Plaza and Morrison Park. The town’s rich natural history–it’s famous for its dinosaur fossils–is celebrated at the Morrison Natural History Museum.
Morrison’s real estate market is made up primarily of single-family homes, with the average home valued at just under $400,000. While some smaller homes can be purchased for under $200,000, Morrison is also home to mansions and sprawling estates that sell for well over $1 million.
